So every Steam game I try to play, the audio is making a constant clicking/skipping noise. Like trying to listen to a CD that is scratched up. This doesn't happen in other games, or when any other program I use that makes sound. Just steam games. It's extremely aggravating. Anyone know whats up, or what I could try to do about it? I'm heading to the realtek website to see if I can get updated drivers.

Edit: Getting the latest drivers seems to have fixed the issue. /thread :D

Just as a point if people do get Steam sounds errors try lowering the hardware acceleration (in audio properties/advance audio settings/performance)
I get a lack of surround sound if it is on full hardware acceleration.

Yup that solved the skipping issues for me when I first got the Orange Box, good tip :thumb:
