WOW! Got any more pics of the build stages of the WC and case? I really want to see how that WC goes together! With some cable management that would be soo much better.

I have hade the water block with Aluminum Northbrige heat sink with acrylic sheet. Full coper Radiator is from old Oil cooled Machinary from local scrap yard.My pump is made from old printer head motor (HP-640 inkjet) and some plastic molded pumping unit.

Since in small town like mine, it's hard to find a DC PUMP("forget about Branded water cooling kits"). so i made it one my self. It can pump 20 liters of water in 53 sec. at 12v dc.
I live in Jodhpur, India. It's a hot place average room temp is around 35C. Since i am not having any type of room cooling, just a room fan.
So my pc use to run at very high temp at normal box pack Cpu heatsink and fan, about 65c at normal running.

This high temp inspired me to do some thing...and you all can see what i came to.

 

Air to water heatsink conversion.
Oil cooller.
Wiper/washer pump.

You win the Cheapskate seal of approval. Not only is it all salvaged, It looks very good.

 

As said before, the cable management is realy needed. If you can, sleeve the cables you cannot work out of sight. And the top DVD player; paint it black as the rest is also black. For the rest, very nice work. I bet Jodhpur does not have many PC stores

I am working on cable management. I am looking for black cable sleeve in local market, but what i got here is just old yellow calbe sleeve used in Electric motor winding. And heat shrink sleeve is also not available.
But i am thinking out something to be used as cable sleeves. I have used it in my pc have a closer look to the cables comming out from SMPS. I ahave used black ribben and wounded it around the wires.

This is why I haven't made a full acrylic case yet, it becomes way too messy! It's gonna be hard to do some cable management that makes it all look clean.

 

Here are new updated pic of my rig. With new full copper homemade cpu water block and motherboard water block. with some cable management of fan cable . And side panal fan and power connector brackets.

The wire management is greatly improved. I especially like the fan header/contacts. I'm going to be doing something like that for the fans/leds on my door using copper foil strips, or terminal strips, since I couldn't find something premade easily. What's the 2 pin connector for? It says HDD led, but I figure you recycled it from spare parts and you wired some fan leds?

Yes two pin "say Hdd led" is powering fan leds.

Hey Rakesh (aka Mr.Sharma23), I think you have duplicate logs up - 1 in modding and 1 in project logs... that's why I couldn't find my previous posts, I had put it in the other one! You should probably put them together into one... saves you and the moderators a bit of trouble.

If you're looking for ideas of what else to do, might i suggest painting the i/o shield area so its not just gray metal? Of course that would mean disassembling everything. I still would like to see the front optical drives matching (paint/vinyl dye), and if you could get some sleeving/ribbon to wrap around more of those cables, it would look a sleeker.

How does the water cooling work? By that I mean what temperatures are you getting and can you compare them to before water cooling?

Thnaks Mod Minded . As per temperature diference there is no change in CPU tempersture or so , but Mb chipset temp came to 36 c, with MB waterblock.

The fan connectors for the side panel is really clever! Nice work
