I read the article on building a blu ray setup with this board here and I just watched some youtube vids on it also. My question is how well would it play a game like crisis with just the integrated graphics solution? Also, it says it does Hybrid Crossfire. What vid card would I have to get to do that?
You will not be able to play Crysis on the IGP. Neither anything older, such as Oblivion... The Hybrid Crossfire is a thing that uses the IGP when there's no or little graphics load, but when you go 3D it'll use the external graphics card. If you want to enable that, you'll need an ATI GPU that is capable of it. I think the newest 4000 series Radeons are, correct me if I'm wrong.

I wasnt really planning on it. I was mainly going to use it for video editing and watching blu ray movies. I just watched an AMD video and they were running crysis on the igp and it looked good. I just was thinking about adding a vid card to the setup, but not sure what to get.
What kind of video editing are you doing? The software you use could dictate what CPU you need to get.
Yes, Hybrid CrossFire scales very well but it goes from very low power to slightly less than very low power. Buy an old but cheap 3850 and it'll blow the socks off it, hell, buy a 3670 and it'll be faster. There's "capable of playing Crysis" and actually "enjoying the experience of playing"..
i have been reading some reviews on some 3000 series card on newegg and if you get a decent card, it says you can play gears of war, mass effect on full settings and crysis on high, but not maxed out
