Thank you very much everybody !
I am very happy to be nominated for MoTM :D

I know updates are a bit slower here, but forgive me plz :p
Here is a new one !

I started painting the whole project. Fist the basic paint for a texture on the pillars.

Then I painted the pillars with a new kind of paint … well … it gives a texture to it :d
Here you see what I mean.

After that a new layer of that paint

I started to choose the color of the case … ended up with this one :)

Sometimes, the paint is dark olive green and sometimes it is gray looking…

I also started on the bottom of the inside of the case. There will be a mat plexi sheet, with the logo of Guerrilla (developers of the killzone games)

Inside the case it will look like this:

After that I made the logo on paper :D

The logo will be black offcoure, that’s a nice color with the orange :D

Here is the result, a bit blurry but just as I wanted it to be ;)

Remember the vacuum cleaner pipe? I gave it a dark accent.

    Before:

    And After
    [IMG]

Nothing special … just to finish the CD drive slot
    [IMG]

And now I am painting the whole case with primer.

    Sorry for bad quality
    [IMG]

That’s it for now , If everything will go smoothly then this project is ended in mid-november and then I can start with my new project.

If you like my work – you can hit your vote for me for the Mod of The Month contest.
Although I am very glad you are looking my log already!

thats a great case mod. love the craftsmanship you put into it. very creative and inovative if ya ask me. btw its a bit on the bulky side how much does it weigh? and did u put any casters under the base?

o btw what kinda goodies are inside ? if its a gaming pc im sure its packed full of nice equipment.

either way grats on the finish and good luck at the show..

    hehe thankyou very much :D

I put the case on the weight scale and it says 24 kilograms - that's about 52.8 pounds if I use the converter :p

The hardware inside is just for a medium pc now,
    An Intel E8200 Core2Duo (2.66GHz x2)
2Gigs of DDR2-800 memory - But I think I will buy an extra 2GB when I'm going to use it for games
Graphics: ATI HD4580 - I bought it in august, it was cheap with very good performance
mobo: MSI P45 NEO2 - ATI crossfire ready with "new" P45 chipset

Well ... I can play all normal games, crysis in medium/high with a good FPS-rate

I'm packing the case for the show now , long live ducktape ! (on the outside of the box ofcourse )

its a great machine you did very well none the less. 52 lbs is a bit of weight you might wanna think about some kind of wheels under the case but thats just an idea.

good luck at the show let us all know how u did
