    Woooohoooo ....

it took a long long time to post it, but here i am.

Please allow me to introduce myself again. I am Stefan, owner of a watercooling store in Berlin. Started as a modder and then made it my profession. Some may know me from my tutorial vids on YouTube, others from Wizd forums.

Too bad i waited this long with my worklog, so i already saw two of these cases around. ThumbsUp guys ... My idea was to mod a LianLi PC60 copper edition in combination with an aquaduct 360 XT to make it match. Here we go ...

    the original case:

    original aquaduct :

First thing i always do when getting new stuff ... rip everything apart and see what´s the deal. Sure .. i am aqua computer Berlin and could get everything in parts easily, but hey ... where´s the fun, at least i am a modder. Here is a video where i de- and reassemble the aquaduct
    http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=T-O5p2S_AAo

First step .. off goes the top, the back face plate and the aquaero ....

    there goes the fans ...

Note, that the fans are on the backside on the original aquaduct. While reassembling i switched them to the front, to use fans with LEDs. Therefore i needed to change the tubing a lot.

    who needs faceplates ?

    radiator off ....

pump, control in the floor and flow sensor

    reservoirs gone ...

    and back in black ....

and instead of the clear tubing some copper tubes on the sides ..

In fact you couldn´t see water level with the copper tubes anyway, so i decided to keep them dry, also to prevent galvanic corrosion. Some silicon and no water anymore in the tubes.

Why does he call this aquaduct copper ? He only anodised the reservoirs. Nooooo .... here are the new faceplates, cnc milled form pure copper and engraved with the MMM Logo.

All copper parts have been painted with clear coat. Pix are final after clear coating.

Say hello to aquaduct 360 XT copper ModMyMachine Edition ...

I already did some modding on the LianLi case ... update soon

    Cheers

Very nice. I love what you did there.

I have the same case and I love it.

You couldn't change the blue LEDs in the reserviors for orange ones?

Apart from that, it looks fab!

I like it! Hadn't seen one of those before, and I like how you've improved it.

PS, your video appears to not exist in this space/time continium.

The aquaduct look very cool. When I was the first pics I thought you were going to replace the aluminium 'corner' profiles with copper ones, but the anodized black looks very nice as well.

Can't wait to see more :thumb:

    Welcome to the forums slame.

Excellent work on the Aquaduct 260, looks much better as copper. I can't wait to see what you have in store for that Lian Li.

Nice looking mod, I wouldn't worry about running a store. Coolmeister runs one as well and has never had any problems :).
