Case Mod - In Progress Hell Fire - Time To Live Customs - UPDATE 19/12/09

The paint is mega hard to get good pics of, the red sparkle is sooo hard to get the cam to pick up.

Ok small update, Ive been over cautious with the paint on this, candy is very thick and Ive let it cure for ages whilst getting a psu sorted and trying to get welshy to decide on hard drives AGAIN!!

But anways, afew pics to show you what Ive done, should really take more pics but one the tunes are on I forget!

Rad painted at home with normal rattle cans, its nothing like paintshop quality but for rads I think these have come out ok






I got the carbon cut, and in, front rad and fans in also, theres also a hole in the bottom of the case to get access to the bleed screw on the rad.
Ive mounted the pumps/res quite far away from the rad to aid airflow.





Roof rad in, Zalman fan controller in, I/O ports in and a red ring Bulgin all snugly fitted






If you look at the bottom left of the roof in this pic the light is catching the red over the black....

Welshy the guy who Im doing this for has been pretty ill and had some major sugery so this project got put on hold. That meant I had longer to think up even more ways to make it great, there have been some componant changes Ive managed to sort for him cheap but the latest thing Im doing for him is getting some tasty paint on the internal parts.

This is just a teaser video of a couple of colours Im playing with atm, Ill have the completed rad videos up next week hopefully.

Yeah it is a nice colour, a little too orange for my tastes but still looks nice.

wow looking auful good TTL was following on wcuk first time ive seen the paint job it looks rad, maybe shine some right lights on to show the finish ?

 

The orange isnt for this case, the red was a sample for this.

The Thermochill rads are going to be done in that colour along with the mips waterblocks.

WoW cant beleive my case is up for nomination cinsidering it isnt finshed yet ><

down to me upgrading to ddr3 motherboard and a yummy e8600 at the start of the month , and ditching the EK blocks for some Mips ones

They usually nominate mods that are WIPs, with good reasons, I'm sure.

 

Im proper in shock I cant belive it, Ill get busy with the rads and waterblocks so you guys can see the red on a bigger panel its a really special colour.
