I racked up 150+ hours on Fallout 3. It's crazy addictive.

I'll see your 150 hours of Fallout and raise you: I've got about 270 hours on my main morrowind savegame. Too bad it's mysteriously incompatible with my current installation of morrowind and won't play :wallbash:

What's half life? Is that something to do with physics?

I vote Left4Dead for pretty instant addiction.

Also, I found Fallout 3 gets boring. Very samey.

Anyone got any more suggestions? I'm in the same boat as the original poster and I've played most of the games mentioned already. System Shock, Deus Ex, Fallout 1/2, Torment, Baldur's Gate and so on... Even installed Homeword 2 yesterday and got it working on Vista (somehow). But I finished it today, so now what? I'm considering installing Black & White 2, if you want some indication of my desperation....

SimCity 3000, once you've got it down, built a metropolis with Fusion Plants you feel on top of the world, The graphics aren't bad either especially when you zoom out once.

Morrowind: Restarted 5 times and modded even further.

COD4: Seriously you'll be addicted soon.

AOE 2: Even with the AI the Scenario Editor is always fun, and online is pretty big too. Still Trying to make a Hu Lao Gate(From Dynasty Warriors 3) map.

I think 4 was much of the same, 5 however, was a cheap AoE clone and was awful. Not played 6 though.

Anarchy Online - It has a learning curve, but it's a great mmo once you get the hang of it.

I think I've racked up the most gaming hours on Transport Tycoon (you can download TTOpen for free, 10 years of development over the orig game), The Civ series (most recently, 4) and Starcraft.

Just to inject something new into the topic.

Tried racing games? Live For Speed , Race 07, GTR 2 etc.

Failing that ... here comes my secret weapon ... Insurgency. It's like crack.
