Windows Resident Evil 5 for PC

Can someone confirm the release date for PC Version of RE5 , gamespot shows 13th Mar 2009 thats same day on consoles.

 

Last I knew Takeuchi said that there is no RE5 PC planned for release.

 

last i heard there was going to be a pc version but who knows, im just waiting to see if it comes out then all well and good i will buy it

 

Well if the PC version does release, I have a feeling it's going to be a port.

 

I've notice a recent trend with some of the pc versions of console games, it seems that they come with a hefty amount of bloatware attached which has to run in the background whilst playing the game.

GoW had Windows Live (which wasn't too bad) but from what I've heard its really bad with GTA IV, is it right that you have log in to two different communities to get the game running?

My concern is that RE5 will have the same issues, if it does then I'll probably abandon the pc version and take the console option.

 

Ya. It has windows live and rockstar social club. But the process is nowhere near as dramatic as people make it out to be.

 

my guess is capcom will use steam like lost planet if it is released on pc

 

Hopefully, if/when it gets developed for PC they won't ship it off to some Chinese sweat shop to get it half-assedly ported like the PC version of RE4.
