The vertical bars in the grill look Jeep, and the square headlight looks Wrangler of some variety. Never seen the lights stacked and sticking out in that pod like thing.

Nice work, you did what the rest of us couldn't be assed with. :p

I thought "Jeep" this morning when I saw that grille, but searching was far too much effort!

    Bring on the next one!

    Hats off to John.

I didn't think it would be anything as simple as an actual Jeep

I can't think of any car manufacturers based in Massachusetts, now or historically. They can't be very proud of this product either, as a search for anything auto related to MA historically turns up nothing. There was a car called the Atlas made there around 1920ish... other than that, Google turns up nothing.

Does look like a late 30s Buick though... Hmm.

First vehicle I ever laid a wrench on. Helped my Father fix one up in the late 1950s and early 1960's. His was same color outside but he did a black ineterior. 353 made. Dad's was 1939 model. You should see one of the little station wagans or the tiny panel truck!

First thought was early Ford Cortina but the grill is too low. When did the world phase out single round headlights?

It was actually a Riley Elf, but seeing as it's essentially the same car, I'll let you have it.

Unless you can actually supply the same photo as proof you're right, you should wait for confirmation before ploughing ahead... you may have been wrong :)
