My brother's using my old P4 Prescott, that I gave my dad to use 3 or 4 years ago when I got my current one, the one they were using before that was an old AMD, can't remember the name now, but it was a P2 equivalent (K6II?) I've had to put it so the fan is on full constantly otherwise it overheats now, even after I dusted the HS, so it sounds like an aeroplane now.
200mhz odd pentium used as an ipcop box, also the most reliable pc in the house with an uptime of 150 days... RwD
Define "every once in a while" - we've got a couple old Mac 2s that get dredged up every couple years and turned on. We've also got a Pentium (with MMX!) that's used on a weekly basis. (Sheet music editing and composing machine. Old, but it works.)
my dad's old dell laptop (don't know the model) from around 2002. it takes him 6 minutes to open outlook and he still thinks it's good enough
A HP desktop that is about 7 years old (bought around 2002) that we let our bad guess suffer thought the waiting time That's how you know you're not welcome, you get to use the HP in the basement
2.2GHz athlon 64, 1GB ddr is my fileserver, it's the oldest PC in my house right now. at my parents house the oldest i ever use is a dell P3 866MHz from '99.
I've got a 450MHz PII that had a whole 128Mb of ram untill I found a couple of sticks I had about. Using it 24/7 as a file server. It can be a little slow but it works for now until I can afford to get some more up to date stuff.
A 3 year (And a few months) old laptop. Pentium M 2.33GHz, 2GB ram, ATIX600 graphics. Not very exciting, i know. I have older computers, but i never use them.

I'm typing this post on a rather old 850mhz p3 compaq laptop. Not as unbearably slow as you might think, as long as i dont try and do more than one thing at once
Old Dell Dimension 5200 3.4ghz P4 prescott, 2gb ddr2 memory and 6600 passive card, works like a charm, and is stable as a rock! Used it as my desktop pc until a couple of weeks ago, now it resides under my bed Edit : it is about 4 years old now
