    Hey everybody !
I brought some pictures with me as always ^^
I think I ended the last update with the motherboard panel.

I found an old case, and I used the spacers from it, and I got the dimensions for an ATX mobo now :p

I let some space in between because some little wires can be put through the motherboard panel to the back so you don’t see them. Cable management ! :D

After this I made the other 3 panels.

    Everything oke !

Time to make some windows in the front panel.

It’s in the back, but I still need to find a way to let it come forward. Maybe a mirror ? guess I’ll have to think that over again.

    The other side panel.

And here you can see a secret space. I’m going to hang 3 hard disk cases to this wooden panel.
And the SATA and power cables will be in between the 2 wooden panels, then … you can’t see them :D

thx for reading and watching :)

    Thanks for comments! ;)

I started on the rear panel a while ago

The big hole will be a window .. the small one will be used to let some cables come out of the case (like the DVI, usb, … cables)
Because I don’t want to damage the cables, I made some smooth edges.

Time to make the I/O panel.

I got this from an old case, it looks crap … but this won’t be visible in the finished result.

To attach the graphical cards, you use a screw. So I have to make place to fit the screw.

After this, I started on the studs again (because my new saw blade arrived)

    I made a lot like these :p
36 to be exactly, these will be divided in 2 – so I got 72 in the end.

    Working with the Plexiglas

This is UV blue plexi btw :D – I need to make 18 plexi rectangles, and these will also be divided into two … so I got 36 in the end …

This is not precise ! -> just to make an example of the layers ;)

To finish this update, something special that I’ll may be using in a next casemod ^^

    Thank you !

I think this project will takes 2 year ... so I'll be busy :p

Guess there still needs to be a lot of work to be done with my hands - because I don't have a milling machine or something :)

There are 2 UV CCFLs connected to an old power supply.
Then I lay the CCFLs in the UV plexi saw-dust.

    @ deltaFX, it's a rough preview

something else now ... A little update
This will also take some of my time,

Some beams that will lighten up. (also on the bottom)

again, this is just a preview ;) - I also have to make the beams a little bit smaller as you can see.

Because this beams will give some light (thx to some LEDs) I have to scour them.

a lot of work needs to be done :D

    hey, I'm back again

    A small update this time...

I sketched some marks on the alu and plexi plates.

after this I started to design the backside of the scratch build.
Like in my last mod "Helghan" (where I made the logo), I hope the backside of the case will get it's attention too.

    here is the idea:

    I hope you like it.
I won't make it like the steampunk themes because I'll work with some uv colors.

    UV orange for the cogs,
UV blue for the background and overall impression
    white for tubing and accessoires

It has been a while ... I'm sorry for that.
    I made some progress though.

Some more sketching, an actual 1/1 scale on paper, not detailed – just for right dimensions ;)

This will be huge … xD but I know I can manage to make it.

    Some more sketching

I gave back the figure saw I borrowed from my uncle, In two weeks I hope to buy a new one for myself.
I moved on the payout container. This is where you get your chips if you have won something.

To make it a bit more stronger, I made a click system.

It is pretty strong because I can put my grinder on it and the wood doesn’t bend at all.
The edges are smooth, and I sanded the container one more time.

There need to be some chips in it as wel.
I thought about going to someone who could make chips with a mill, or any programmed machine. But my ego is too big, for a machine to make it – I WANT TO MAKE IT MYSELF !! :D

    I started with a sheet of plexi…

Yes I also modded the drill a bit ^^ (if you could mention it as “modding” xD )

    Some round chips were born.

After those, my drill … well euhm :)

Ah yes … I almost forgot – I made these before I began doing the drilling of the chips (previous foto)
I made this with a small saw and curved them with a dremel.

I wasn’t satisfied with this result at all, because you can see the scratches very good.
I thought about making a mould / model … maybe the result would be cooler if I used some paint.

    Making the model:

A better result now, some chips are disgraceful, but because there are many … nobody will see it :D

    Thx for watching, reading
Let me know what you think about it !

    okay, thank you AFX

I’m going to begin on the intake, because my saw machine is still not available in store.

Two 120mm FANs (white) with orange plexi and shiny aluminum to finish it.

I have used a hammer and some grips to bend the aluminum.
The result is not that great but it’s ok

    The hole for the intake
