can't really belive thoose guy on youtube that says this looks bad, cause this is really a piece of true art!
Very nice of the Silverstone cases, even more it is going through changes show even more! Very nice this idea of imitating a grill of a Ferrari engine!
Did the HD version of the video lag for anyone here? I'd be happy to produce more videos in HD, but they lag for me ...and I'm on a T1 line
Really nice so far! Just a shame the cooler is called V8, when the mod turns it in to a W12 - But what the heck.. We all like tuned engines Great work!
Ok, sorry for the LONG pause in updates!!?!? Work, child, work, child, computer install... That's the story morning glory!! Well, here we go... The case arived... And, so did all this tech-goodness!! After I got most of it installed, I tore it all apart. I did because when Bill Owen's Diamond Plate Metal Film http://www.mnpctech.com/DiamondPlateFilm.html arrived, I applied that to parts of the case to keep with the Ferrari theme. It worked well with the rest of the case. I also added a cover for the Nvidia 295GTX.... It just looks cooler with the top covered.
MORE..... Here's the front. Side shot... The "just because I'm in it" photo...!?! Top... Side shot,... at night... The RAM... The "wha?" shot... And....... It's done!!!!
So far, I have Overclocked it to 3.62Ghz.. I'm going to try to push it to 4Ghz this week. I'll post pictures of that soon...
Very cool. But I would go for some LED fans with white light....The blue doesn't go that well with the red.
Looks really nice. Bill you did an awesome job and Brian you did a nice clean build. Personally I would have used red or white fans though to better compliment the red paint.
Thanks for the good words all of you!! I shopped white fans around but couldn't find ones that hit speeds I like. Everything white was like 1500RPMs with some 40CFM or what-not. I wanted to move the air!! Red Fans were a thought of mine but I nixed it for blue because red and more red = lots of red. I like it with the blue. The only thing now is to buy something for the third bay down from the top?? Not too sure what will fill that space yet. Bill deserves loads of credit (all) here. Really, without him and his work, this would of been just another case... He's a great partner to work with!!
Bill, I have a question for you. What would be the best way to remove the top of the heat sink to replace the fan with another? I was trying to figure that out one night and it looks like it's screwed in with these irregular screws that might make it tricky. Any ideas?
