Very well put together fanmade movie trailer.

 

Epic win! I'd very much want to watch that.

But the problem is, Panthro was "clearly the Black Thundercat" and Chitara was not Gigi Edgley.

As a Kid I had a Thunder Tank, that was killed by a Volvo, that video brought up a lot of rage

 

lol me too, i had it an hour before one of the track's snapped. also had liono, panthro (with the button in his back to move his arms) and rambam (you could pull his string to spin his wheel and let him go).

 

I had wily kit and wily kat, tigro, cheetara, and and liono, but my favourite toy was this sort of upside down helicopter (it had a circular rotor type thing under the cockpit) with a trigger on the back you could pull to make the rotor spin. Hours of fun.

 

was it called the hovercat? silver and orange?

I think the beginning where the sword goes into a holder is He-Man, the person doing the voice over is the final parts of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade where indy picks the Holy Grail.

Mummra is Bill Nighy in Underworld,

and possibly parts taken from Stargate

 

That guy must have spent a virtual lifetime digging out all those scenes to make the trailer flow right. Amazing effort.

 

Theres also parts from planet of the apes in there as well.

 

The Thundertank ( or whatever it was called) is taken from Aliens. Amazing efort to splice it all together so well.

 

What is Thundercats??

 

In short, an iconic cartoon for 20 somethings as it used to air on Saturday mornings years ago.
