Did a little looking for more info about stainless and found this ... All-Clad FAQ Just to verify that 304 is what you want I looked up this Klean Kanteen FAQ and clicked the "What is stainless steel?" The information given there mentions that they use 304 as well. Hope this helps if you decide to go with the stainless steel option.
