Isaac see what will happen if our education isn't free. we'll be full of fools who can't point to the UK let alone continents.

I would have thought Hindu... (I haven't take the quiz so I'm not sure of the correct answer)

[edit] just started taking it... oooh I was wrong too... won't say not to ruin it... I was suprised too.

That was the only one I missed as well... It's weird that the same amount of people in Sweden that knew where Italy was also was the same for their own country...

Okay, since we seem to have shifted the topic of conversation around to English lessons:

There is one instance when it's correct to use "I is" in a sentence. What is it?

Two common words in English have plurals ending in "n" rather than "s" (an incorrect example is "flean" rather than "fleas"). what are they?

There are two words in English ending in "-shion". What are they?

    No cheating!

same, odd i could have sworn i was right too!
besides that question is hardly geography :p

i suspect that in the UK it's probably split between a group which knows mostly the right answers, and another which has no ****in clue!!

what really worried me was the amount of americans getting their own population wrong :eyebrow:

Heh I can come up with a few:
The letter I is the ninth letter. The word I is the first person singular pronoun. He's a better bowler than I, is he not?

    men, women, and children.

    fashion and cushion.

The man speaks the truth :) since I imagine most places in the Middle East have had original Farsi or Arabic names, they are translated, which obviously can give different spellings as the alphabets are different. e.g. irak or iraq, Kandahar or Qandahar....

    :)
