Some of you seem to be not to impressed with the latest installment of the series, so what do you think is the best, and why?

    I'll start it off:

    You Only Live Twice.

Why - it's got everything! Over the top plot, fantastic 'evil' lair in the volcano, massive fight at the end between the Ninja's and the Henchmen, the best villan - Ernst Stavro Bloefeld (Donald Pleasence) and best of all - Little Nellie! :D

My fave has got to be "A View To A Kill" dunno why, but it was always the one I dug out when I was a kid. Aaahhhh, I can remember before we bought the whole lot on proper VHS we had REALLY old recordings, I.E. 1980's with the really old krimbo time adverts :D Such as Babysham (or however it's spelt!) the one with the TV half buried in the sand with the waves, and the Heiniken advert "aaaaand a partridge in a pear tree!!"

Tommorow Never Dies is my number two pick!

Live and Let die? I think not. The reason is summed up in two words - Roger Moore!:p :D The title song by Wings is pretty good though.

Oh - and Never say never again doesn't count, as every one knows it's just a remake of Thunderball.

    1. Goldfinger
    2. Goldeneye
    3. The Man With The Golden Gun

I think its the "bling bling" of the gold that draws me to these 3.

Goldfinger is definitely up there somewhere at the top of the list, if not the top. I can't remember how some of the movies go, I've only seen a couple of them once.
"Do you expect me to talk?"
"No Mr Bond, I expect you to DIE!"

    Classic scene :)

edit: Just updating my post, I've now seen Die Another Day, personally I thought it rocked!! :D

My favourite bond car so far is the aston martin in Living Daylights or the Lotus Esprit in The Spy Who Loved Me.... or little nellie, if that counts :D ...but I've not seen the new film yet.  I'm seeing it on Saturday.

::EDIT:: I've seen every other film though.

of all the ones i've seen, i have to say Dr. No and Goldfinger are my favourites....unless of course you count casino royale as a bond movie. if so, that's my fave.

I have to disagree with most of you...I think Tomorrow Never Dies SUCKED compared to the other bonds. The plots was just...wtf...dumb.

Goldeneye was great...spawned one of the best console games in history (back when I played consoles).

    Goldfinger was awesome.

You only live twice was good too.
