Is there a definitive list of the codecs these boxes support? Basically I'm after RealVideo support, which isn't mentioned anywhere, so I'm not terribly hopeful! :worried:

    Hi Dogers

For video play back the IB-MP309HW-B plays the following:-

    1. MPEG-1 VCD format (1.15Mbps CBR)
[.mpg, .mpe, .mpeg, .dat, .m1v, .iso]
    2. SD and HD MPEG2 up to 20 and 40 Mbps
[.mpg, .mpe, .mpeg, .m2v, .vob, .vro, .iso]
    3. SD and HD MPEG-4 (OpenDivx, Xvid, MP4)
[.avi, .divx, .mov, .mp4, H.264, .iso]
    4. SD and HD WMV9
    [.asf, .wmv, .mkv, .iso]
    5. AVI audio codec: MP3, AC3, PCM, WMA, Ogg

Do you know what version of RealVideo you are looking for?... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RealVideo

H.264 is supported on the IB-MP309 also, which I think maybe what you are looking for.

Nope, it's definitely Real support I'm after :)

Annoyingly, a lot of Chinese/Korean stuff is still released in .rmvb format - from Mediaplayer Classic, it looks like RV40 which surprisingly *is* supported by ffmpeg as Wikipedia says! The audio unfortunately isn't, it's RealAudio COOK (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RealAudio#Codecs) :(

    Any update? :D

If they're definitely definitely adding it, I might have a chance to buy one this weekend, although Aria don't appear to stock the latest models and Scan is out of stock :(

I'm guessing Nanopoint are just a disti for it all?

    Hi Dogers

Sorry but I have no more information yet, Raidsonic support informed me that this is being developed but other than that I have no more information.

Yes Nanopoint is the UK Disti for Maxpoint & Raidsonic.
