Other The official bit-tech and CPC Fantasy Football League!

For those interested in the world of footie, the English Premier League kicks off this weekend, so i've decided to create a fantasy football league for bit-tech and CPC's forumites and readers.

To register, head over to http://fantasy.premierleague.com/ start up a team, then just join the private league 645154-219570 to get in. It's entirely free to enter, with points updated after the last of the weeks games. You get one free transfer a week, 100 million to create you're dream team, and one wild card a season to allow unlimited transfers for 1 week (if all you're players are injured for example).

I'm starting out small, but if we get a significant amount of sign ups, I'm sure I could swing some prizes for the winners on a monthly, or seasonally basis. However, to get to that point we need signups, so get signed up!

Also, feel free to discuss the league in this here thread. Predictions: Michael Owen to score less than 45 points all season, Lampard to be top point scorer over the year. Portsmouth to get relegated because they've gone and sold anyone with any talent.

I'd join but I have no understanding of football and who to buy.

And I get too caught up in a metagame whenever I try and play these sort of things i.e. I buy all the cheapest players then pretend to run away with the rest of the money and be RICH!
