Case Mod - In Progress Ultra Microfly Overclocked

im new on bit-tech
but i often look after the latest case mods.

now its my turn i´ll try too make the best ultra microfly case mod on web
(YES it will be hard to beat the simpson case from MNPCTECH)

Here my Utar Microfly in the moment
i bought it @ ebay for 50€ with a 30 cm cold cathode and an aditional 120 mm fan.

but realy cool @ LAN partys

i stealthed my dvdrw and .....

and put my self made bullet-switch where i can switch the 4 30 cm cathodes and the two 120 mm fans at the back and the side

here my desk

- 19" rigth (main screen) + 17" left put together in dual-view mode
- small MS-Tech keyboard
- Logitech G5 refresh
- Logitech Rumbelpad 2
- Wacom Bamboo

System specs:
- Intel P4 3.06 ghz @3.20 ghz
- 2GB Ram
- 160 GB Hdd (Wester Digital)
- Pioneer DVD Burner

Geforce 6600 GT 512 mb

400 watt (enough for my rig)

160 gb WD

i had to put my hardware in another old case (one of my failed mod)

ill saw two holes for the 120 mm fans

 

i took a long night for finishing my sketchup version


now here the question:

BLACK OR WHITE ??!?!

What kind of gfxcard ist that, where heatsink and fan assembly are on the opposite side to what I know is regular?

i think really everything gonna be white
all the screws all fans
all coolers ,fan grills.
Propably ill need to sleeve everytinng in white and exchange my cathodes
where 3 are blue and one redin the moment.

this is a asus 512 mb passive cooled 6600 gt (pcie 16)

i took the cooler from my old 7600 gt (agp 8),
because the original passive one was to big and didnt cool very well.

but i dont know why asus put the GPU and RAMS on the other side

 

I agree with white. There are so many black cases these days, nice to be different.

A little tip, when you upload your images, resize them to 800X600, makes it much easier to view and they load much faster . Besides that, nice start.

I prefer white as well. Though, you might want to go with blue cables, I bet that would look sweet!

 

why BLUE cables ???

Yeah I agree. For a case like that and so many windows, everything should be white, go for it. Would look sexy.

 

nice mod,
dunno wich color.
white looks cool.
but the black with white fans gives a nice contrast.
