There are a few of these around, and as there are no good 1156 coolers, it will have a big influence on what motherboard to buy atm.

I know that the EVGA P55 Cheesecake has mounting for LGA775 coolers and possibly the EVGA P55 Standard has too.

Can anyone add to the list??

    Thanks :)

    LOL at Bittech's cheesecake humour.

sorry, i don't have anything to add to the list.

unless you want to overclock RIGHT NOW, just stick stock cooler on it and up Bclk to 150. for some quick, free performance boost. it's do-able on stock cooling at stock volts

OI! who edited my post xD   yes, cheesecakes are F.T.W... (which is what it originally read :p)

Yeh... i was sort of hoping to build a really quiet system. although on the plus side it gives me a good excuse to get the expensive EVGA board... its got nothing to do with its looks... ;)

EDIT: ok... just realised that the cheesecake/F.T.W thing is automatic... shows how little i use the phrase... :/

Thermalright & Xigmatek both list adapters for existing HSFs to fit 1156 & I'm sure that they won't be the only ones.

on the Thermalright website - unfortunately according to SCAN "due to a production mistake their kit's won't be available till sometime this week. Being based in the states that means we could be a week or two off on those."
