I saw on wikipedia the specs for a HD 5890 which is supposed to come stock @ 1100 on core and be on a 32nm process. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compar...#Radeon_Evergreen_.28R800_-_HD_5xxx.29_series Is that serious? Or just someone messing around on wikipedia?
Looks like it's been changed now, and there's a little disclaimer above the chart: "5890 does not exist in the pipeline" An overzealous ATi fan, perhaps?
It is possible that the 5890 WILL be marketed. However for now I doubt it... I reckon the 5890 whill the designed etc to combat a certain GT300 series card that may have an advantage in a certain part of the market.. genorating a GT375 I reckon.
I'm going with something like this. ATi probably has it in the works already, but like the 4890, they'll wait a bit and see what the market is looking for in a high-end card. I'd expect the 5890 to be released around/after the GT300 line.
