Ok, I have 3GB of DDR3 RAM in my PC at the moment, but I also have another 3GB sitting around, from a different manufacturer. Is it better to have 6GB of unpaired RAM, or stick with the 3GB paired? Also, what can I do to increase stability, because I did try this once but I kept having BSODs, thanks.

If you have two sticks of unmatched ram. The MOBO should run both at the lowest speed. For example, I have a laptop with a 512MB 555MHZ stick and a upgraded 667 MHZ 2GB stick. The laptop runs them both at 555 MHZ and sees 2.5 gigs of total ram.

Or it could just blue screen. Who knows?:thumb:
