    :D Thanks, everyone! :D

@stonedsurd - Join the competition, and you might win this.:naughty: -Who am I kidding... Darkenergy always wins.:hehe:
@Djayness - 3/4" and 1/2"? I'm getting it from Delvie's Plastics. They would be expensive, but I only bought small sheets. (I only got a 12" square of the 3/4") I have no clue where to get plexi like that where you are.

    Big update...
-I got the fin glued in place. The solvent didn't get all the way through, but it still looks good. -Oh, the outsides got polished too.
-What the... Another experiment? I mounted some plastic to a paint stick with wood glue. I need a way to hold tiny parts. I will be making HUNDREDS of spacers like this for the case.
-The glue worked perfectly, but the masking didn't hold to the part. Right as it was finishing, the bit caught, and the spacer went flying off to I don't know land.
-Cool! The paper is on there forever. Next time I'll try this with a stronger tape masking.
-Another experiment. I know of a readily available super-soft grommet material. I was curious to see if I could machine it. YES, that's a toilet tank gasket.:eyebrow:
    -It came out pretty good.
-I used a NEW ring for this, Honest! Here's the proof!
-I knew this was a recipe for disaster before I even started... This ring was too soft. The bit touched it and it just jiggled.(EEL, No!)
-I went back to my old technique of using a sharpened pipe. It didn't work so well either. Later I put them in the drill press and tried to shape them with a trick I learned driving a '70s bigblock.:hehe: I made a lot of rubber dust, and they still looked crappy.
-Anyway, I got the press out for another reason. I had to use the spacer-making collet TribalOverkill gave me to clean up the parts. A paint tarp went over the valuables.
    -Here's one set cleaned up.
-Gluing time. I set up everything to fit 6-32 screws for this stage.
-I glued the first set of spacers on. It was a bad time to find out I had the shakes.:wallbash:
-As the masking came off, It started sinking in how effing awesome this thing turned out!
-Even unfinished and with the ugly grommets, it looks sick!
-I managed to drip and get my finger in it.:(
Next up, I need to clean up the bo-bos, and polish the impeller well. Then there's the leak test.

This awesome post was brought to you by awesome sponsors.:D

Thanks. -That's where I was at!:hehe: It just hit me when I saw it, and I said "holy cr*p!" really loud. The purple was kinda plain until I shined up the edges, so it caught me by surprise.

How about putting the gasket in the freezer first? Maybe it would be easier to work on.

    Thanks again guys.:D
@perplekks - You must be getting old too.:hehe:
@Sphering - I thought about that, but I would have to freeze it once for each grommet. It would have taken forever. I'm thinking about using foam next time.

    Thanks! everyone.

    @perplekks - maybe quit drinking then?:D
    @craig & EEL - NO:hehe: Thanks for the offer.

-I need to point this out to whoever gets this. The stock DDC mounting brackets have to come off to use this top. I never liked the stock mounts.
-The leak test went well. It was certainly colorful to look at.:hehe: I realized I can't pressure test the area I was worried about because it's on the intake. I will have to come up with something later for that.
-Now, back to GwassGween: Tucked away in the design is a 2nd radiator. I had to come up with something that would fit under the power supply. I bought an mcr 240 from Sidewinder for this. Once the paint stink airs out, I'll get to fitting it. I also need to do something about the sides. You might have noticed I'm not big on logos and graphics. One with a GIANT copyright mark will have to go.

Thanks again to my great sponsors!:D
