Ah well...as there is no demo either....looks like I'll have time to rent a console version and decide if its worth buying for the pc.

Wait, what do you expect me to do if my pre-order don't arrive on the 10th Activision? Just sit and wait for it or maybe play a pirated copy on a console :)O console piracy exists!) until the pre-order arrives?
The pirate option sounds tempting (easier than to pirate a PC-game), it doesn't seem like publishers will stop using PC-piracy as an excuse anytime soon so maybe if console piracy increases they will have to rethink (yeah, it's a stupid idea but nothing else seems to work).

And a "manufacturing problem"? Please, haven't you heard about Steam? Wouldn't that solve some piracy problems too?

Living in Europe and being a former Nintendo fan boy, delays and high prices has always been a part of the game.. But damn! when I traded my Wii for a gaming PC, I at least thought I was free of delays...

I don't think its a piracy issue. These guys make billions of dollars in the video game industry, they aren't stupid, so they must know that delaying the PC version won't reduce piracy, it will increase it, just like it does every time this happens.

It's pretty obvious why they're ALL doing this, as for the currently favored stated reason of: "optimization" , it probably sits alongside that Nvidia Fermi card used in a recent presentation. It's the multi platform, first day of release, PC piracy issue; game comes out, hits the torrent sites , many homes that have both PC and console select the no cost option - sale lost. Fewer people than many might imagine, actually play the big online multiplayer orientated games online, where it can be stopped. I just wish they would come out and say this, I think most sensible PC gamers would respect their reasons and their candor.

There are TONS of people playing online with pirated copies. There are high quality cracked servers available to play on as well.

So yah, this game is probably going to pirated to all hell.

too bad pirates will pirate the console verion first even before the game comes out!

It’s more like microsoft is at it aging trying to trash pc gaming any how they can!!

More proof that gaming industry hates pc gamers and pc gaming.

maybe it’s time boycott wow, lets see how long actvsion lasts with out blizzard.

alot of game devs and gaming like to attack pc gaming and pc gamers these day I

wonder what they are going to do when the extistion of consoles comes.

keep pissing of pc gamers and you will see what happens at the top of the food chain.

last time i checked games are not made on consoles. what does AMD have 80%

of their hardware in consoles and they are not making money.

    this.
It's harder for people to pirate on consoles. Hence they try to get people to buy it on consoles by releasing it later on the PC.

My thought is that they're probably tuning the game for Fermi. Got to be lots of need for code optimization in that regard. But they could just release a patch for that later, yes?

    I dunno, I'm no expert
