    Any updates? I'm on the first page and didn't get an Invite (much like Hex) - Did anyone of the invited on the first round get invites themselves?

    Just an update from Stephanie (one of the developers of wave) on twitter an hour ago.

    Twitter message below

    RT @twephanie if a friend invited you to Wave, it will @ least days if not longer till u get your invite. invites are not sent immediately.

    I've been following a few people on twitter that have also been invited by their friends/colleagues by wave and have not yet received their invitations. From what I gather from this twitter is that Stephanie will be sending out the invitations to all the invitees over the next few days. So hopefully the first 8(me included) will get their invites in the next few days.

    Me too. I have received my invite. Just a quick note from twephanie at twitter

    "Recent invitees do not get to invite others. We will grow from sign-ups and the invite queue. Active users might get invite wave later ..."

    As the twitter suggests that those that have received invites including myself may have not received invitations to hand out. I certainly have not. But as twephanie has said that for those users that remain active they will be receiving invitations to give out.

    So for those of you that have received invitations then please send me a wave through google wave to remain active so that I can give the rest of you some invites

    It's official, no more invites for new sign ups. Those of us still waiting will have to wait a hell of alot longer until Google release more invites/ works through the requests queue. Oh the twitter I have linked to is from the Google Wave Project Manager BTW.

    I appreciate that it's a new system and they need the time to expand their resources, but I'm barely going to touch mine without being able to invite people that I would actually communicate with. Ah well :sigh:
