The new fan placed in the hard disk cooler frame(old fan to the left),much more cooling air and a lower noise..

 

wow, very nice paint and engraving. not to mention the fan grills

New fan grilles

Santa was early this year,actually I ordered new fan grilles from Bill Owen who helped me out with the design and production of my newly received fan grilles,great job Bill,thank you again!



As I thought,the single grills frame ment for the outlet in the back of my box,was to big for my 120 mm fan,It also cover to much of the IO shield,so I had to do som changes here, to get it fit correctly together with the fan,therefor I ordered a single grill addtional to the rest of my things,in case of.....and I'm glad I did,after a little modification it turn out like this,the frame will offcourse be black :

The roof of my box is delivered to my welder,because of an unsymetric blowhole who had to be fixed,for there again to come up with two exactly equal holes for the duo grille....

It's time for an new mini update,
The newly welded roof of my box need to be reopened, that went out this way:

I found a nice item on the net who is a exact copy of the air inlet on the F430,from beeing a orginal wrist watch box,it's going to be a external HD enclosure:

The fan grills look great, very nice. Sucks about your fraud though.

 

It didn't went out so smooth with the welded roof as the pictures said.when I try to straighten up the surface on my anvil with the hammer it wouldnt get straight at all, after the heat it was exposed to, bla bla.............++++++++++
So I got a new one from ANTEC EUROPE, BIG BIG THANKS to Bradley Tiu who helped me out with a new roof(a whole skeleton of a P-182 actually) so I could proceed with my project, and this time with no heat involved, thanks again Bradley!!!!!!!!!
I had to start all over again,and that went like this:







I'm not sure yet if it's gonna be like this at the end, but inside the roof I do paint this pattern as so long,picture before the clear coat:

 

Im not really a fan of Ferraris as such, but this is one heck of a homage- no doubt they'll start selling Ferrari branded PCs in the near future
