    If you want to change the color of the display into real looking orange you have to use a (few) filter(s) or uv-orange-acrylic.
    With the normal Roehm Plexiglas this will come out (click - not much orange at all and sry for the bad pic. Haven't got another here right now). This is a pic of my VFD filtered with orange plexi.

    I'm sorry to quote and bump an old-ish post but I'm looking for LEDs to replace the stock red ones on the front fan of my HAF 932. Will these orange ones that you found run on 12v or will I need to do some fancy work with resistors?

    I'm a soldering/electrical newbie, so please bear with me if the question sounds silly.

    LEDs do not like 12V.. Throw some resistors in there. As for what resistors, well that depends on series/parallel, number of LEDs, etc. There should be some calculators around.

    I was lured in with the hope of an update as well...

    Is this project stalled or has modsquad taken a vacation? We want more updates! The only excuse is if you are laying in a medical bed or the IRS is after you for trying to deduct modding expenses off your taxes. :lol:
