Nicely done and I totally agree with the 1 posters bit, I put their names in the list because you never know it might be the thread that starts a long time lurker posting. It's why I've made the list on p1 link to profiles so if you don't recognise a name you can easily check them out.

I've also added a note to show you've given out lots of invites

Well some of us got the wave invites, subbed into the B-T wave. Now what are we going to DO with it actually?

Dunno yet, but there are lots of uses I can think of, it just isn't all that useful until more people have access to it. I had a perfect use for it yesterday (I was proof-reading an essay for someone) but although he has a Wave account he can't get to it on his home PC as it just sits there 'syncing waves' and doesn't actually work

I think it's one of those things that will take off slowly. It took me a few minutes of copying and pasting where I'd changed stuff on the essay before I thought "Oh wow, Wave would be perfect for this! I could highlight the text I changed and make notes for him". Most likely you'll be IMing someone about directions or something and remember Wave would be perfect. But I don't think it'll be instantly revolutionary at all. It's sort of like IRC but with embedded gadgets.

So how are all the features on it working? coz i watched the looooooooooooooooong video and they seemed to have a couple of problems which they tried to claim was down to reasons other than wave not working.
Just wondering if there is any difficulties really

I still can't figure out what it's for that gmail, gchat, google docs, Google calendar can't handle. I can't use any of my normal Google desktop with it.

I don't think it's trying to do anything different to those things, it's about putting them together in one place. So you can discuss an event with people over e-mail or IM, but Wave allows you all to manage it in real-time with the calendar/guestlist/map/discussion/etc. all in one place embedded in a single wave.

I think the biggest problem Google are going to face with this is that until it's out there and being used a lot there are too many people who will give up on it just because it isn't the totally new thing they thought it was.

righty, not sure how this wave thing works,

My mate has a wave account, says he has sent me an invite, that was bout 3/4 weeks ago and says invites are only released in "wave's". that correct?

There are also developers working on integrating this with various websites, e.g. facebook, twitter etc, blogging platforms and all manner of other services so i expect take up will often be via these routes then people working out they can do facebook from wave and twitter and email and IM .. so why bother with the rest ..
