Hey people, DJ Hero was released yesterday and I was wondering what your views on this are. I bought the Renegade Edition which came with a few extras, such as; Jay-z and Eminem CD Limited Edition Turntable (metal based instead of plastic) Special Carry case which doubles up as a stand. I have been playing for a few setlists and can vouch for this game being great.
As I've never understood DJ'ing, I probably won't understand the game but is there actually any difference in being able to do it in real life as to playing the game?
Yeh there is a difference, its similar to how guitar hero is. The best thing to do is pop to your lcoal Game store. The one in Lincoln had a demo of the game which made me buy it.
I was in game in lincoln earlier in the week and noticed the demo machine, i really wanted to have go but there were too many people waiting. funny how i dont really like dancy music but i find DJ hero more interesting than any of the guitar based games.
Yeah its completely different. For example all the songs are premixed which is a large part of the DJing. No beatmatching or pitchshifting involved. Or arguably the most important part of DJing; being able to read a crowd. Still, as long as your not expecting it to be a true DJ experience its pretty fun.
