Tada! Well.. prob a bit of an anticlimax for anyone who was waiting, I got old school on this mesh and got the roller out, slightly mental, but brushes were a nightmare 'cos of the holes and I simply don't have anywhere to spray, until next summer!

Well I painted it gloss black in the end. Here it is painted:

The finish isn't the best in the world, but it's the best I can do and that's good enough for me :)

I sanded the back side after scraping off the excess from the brushig nightmare with a stanley knife. It needs a polish and some clear coat ;)

Fitted it in place as that's the safest place for it!

I'm glad I kept the back side silver 'cos I reckon the black woulda looked way outta place!

    Comments/complaints/suggestions?

While I'm at it, does anyone know of a good batch watermarking freeware program???

Don't worry, the paint looks fine :)

And if you find out about that batch watermarker, drop me a line, I'm looking for one too.

That is so nice brother!!! If you like to change the back side I would suggest orange, it would fit nice with the interior and the sleeving etc!! Way to go man!!! :)

    Thanks Blackwhizz :D

Glad you think so stonedsurd! Found one, try uMark Lite :) It's pretty basic but it does the job I reckon, until I find something better.

Thanks AnG3L, never thought of painting it orange! Might have to look out for some orange paint ;)

No worries, only problem is you gotta do the WM in .bmp and choose a colour for transparency.

*Edit* Here's one I did while trying it out, not nearly as good as EEL's and some others, but it's a start!

I can't get it to work. it needs .NET 1.1.432 and I seem to have the latest already.

    That's odd, I'm on 64bit 7 RC, works a treat. That's a massive pain cos it's really easy to use :(

Mate looks great, a very nice clean build. I like how you managed to keep one side of the mesh silver, IMO the silver looks much better on the inside then black ever would.

Was mucking around with the camera and took these, oh and I forgot to disable the mobo lights again when I re-flashed the BIOS, dunno if I like em or not...

However, looking at the pics there is a lot of dust. I could do with some sort of filter system but I like the fact that you can see the fans from the outside, and the mesh from on, so what can I do??

    Ideas?

So... anyone got ideas on a filter system?

There are several fan-filters available out there, if you paint the frame of those white, it wouldn't stand out that much, and your PC will be a lot cleaner =)

Really nice pictures man! I am afraid that if you want to avoid dust you are going to ruin the look of the mod by adding filters on the front, side panel etc. Just buy a blower and clean that baby every 2 weeks and it should be fine!
