I have a collection of images all different sizes / pixels and need them to all be 150x150 Does anyone know of a program that can resize an image, but not distort it to fit. Example, if I resize 194x300 to directly to 150x150 it will stretch I need it to resize to 97x150 but add white either side to make the image 150 x 150... Does any of that make any sense because i've confused myself!
I had a thread about this not long ago here. Out of those listed in that thread I used Faststone which was pretty good, but VSO works fine as well. Haven't tried the others.

Thanks guys, I have downloaded VSO but i'm obviously missing something. When the image selected is larger it crops rather than resizes and then adds a background. Also the background it adds is black, any way to change this to white?
Picture Resizer 4.0 I found it ugly clunky program. but it would work well. set file name to PhotoResize300.exe and any folder dropped onto it would resize all the photos in seconds. it also appended the name to dcsf0001-300.jpg
Thanks, looks like a very good program. Unforunatley it still can't perform the required task. The action it performs is the same as teh VSO one: •PhotoResizeA400x300.exe - crop and resize to 400x300 pixels. The central part is preserved and resized while the borders are cropped I want it to shrink resize and add border, not crop
