I finally ordered a PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817339001 $24 with free shipping, I think that's a pretty good deal considering the 4 star rating. Now to wait...
PSU arrived a day early! I hooked everything up, powered it on, and got a blank screen. The screen doesn't show "no signal found", it's just blank, and the monitor light is orange, like it is in sleep mode or something. I tried both monitor outputs on the graphics card, but nothing works. What could the problem be? I hope it's not the PSU, all the fans are running and the hard drive is running fine. I just can't see anything.
What i meant was try another psu (one that you know works) on the system. Cheap psu's are very unreliable.
Well, as I said before, all the fans are working and the little power light is on. Maybe this weekend I will test my main comp psu on it and see if the results are any different.
I got it to work, all I had to do is put the RAM stick in the 3rd slot. I'll probably continue to build this weekend.
Got all the hard drive today, I hooked everything up! Installed Windows XP. Luckily, the hard drive works, and checks out at ~98% health in Speedfan. Started construction on the hard drive holder.
Read this, its instructive http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=173600&page=5 The good point is they're PSU manifacturer, I Herd they made PSU for Antec in the past.
"Is probably unstable"? Of course it is not as structurally sound as some metal cases, for example dropping it would be a bad idea. But it is not going to just fall apart, if that is what you are saying. hmmm......lets see....polish translation: Oczywiście to nie jest tak nośne, w niektórych przypadkach metalu, na przykład upuszczenie byłoby złym pomysłem. Ale to nie będzie po prostu rozpadnie się, jeśli to, co mówisz.
