the smallest dot-pitch I've found on a vfd is .65mm. does anybody know of a smaller one? I imagine it's probably much harder to do a small dot-pitch on vfd than lcd, so also what are some modding-type lcds with a really small dot-pitch?
Horizontal or vertical dot pitch? http://www.noritake-elec.com/itron/english/catalog/vfd/stdvfd/dm.htm
I just want one with really small pixels, so I can get fine, "non-pixelated" looking graphics. so one that has a very high resolution and a very small viewable size
Well, have you plowed through specs of all the models made by Noritake? That's the direction to go if you haven't.
you know, i've been wondering for a long time, but never asked, but what's a vfd? i know it's a display, but what exactly is it?
Vacuum Flourescent Display Its a really bright display mainly designed to do exactly what LCDs to only brighter and most of the times better built. Anybody wanna elaborate?
