Don't think you'd look good in the uniform. I might be mistaken. :jawdrop:

I thought it was time to spend some of my hard earned money, so I bought some new wheels for my car, and replaced the f-ugly stock ones with these:

I like them a lot, and it just looks (and even drives) much better :)

Is it just me that thinks the entire car needs lowering a bit? :eyebrow:

    Nice rims though :)

Not to my taste, but either way it needs to be slammed.

I would have gone for something like these but then the wheels would be worth more than the car :p

But the euro look can work really well even with steel wheels as long as they are clean and tidy.

I'd say the same, but it's actually not that bad even though the picture might say otherwise. I had 13" standard steel rims on my car first (they really look like #$^@) so these 15" new ones are a big improvement already :D. Besides, lowering your car here in the Netherlands is basically giving your car a death sentence because there is a speedbump every 200 meters (no joke). It's my first car and I even share it with my twinsister and I'm not really looking into totally pimping it. Maybe just an other exhaust, filter and soundsystem. The rest ain't worth it really.

@ Matticus. You're right, those would probably cost me as much as my entire car haha :D These were quite decently priced, considering the tires were included.

    :)

The other thing with lowering a car is that it ruins the load-carrying ability. If you fill it full of junk you won't play well with speedbumps anymore. They look pretty good, although they wouldn't be my personal choice.

Well the most important part is that you are happy with it. Sucks about the speedbumps though, the best thing you can do to your car is get some proper cleaning stuff if you haven't already. A nice microfibre or lambswool wash mitt as sponges and car washes are evil. A drying towel, some good polish and wax and assorted cloths. A clean car always wins over a modified car. Check out www.cleanyourcar.co.uk, its got a very good range, I am sure they ship across europe, or might just serve as a reference for what to look out for in local shops.

Have to agree with you here. I am a type of person that likes to keep his stuff clean, in general (i.e. room/house/car). And I do agree, a good looking car is not just about modifying it, that's not what I'm after either. The car itself is in near perfect condition so that's why I'm quite happy with my car too. It really does pay off if you're careful with it and if you take care of it, it will look after you too :)

I'll have a look at that link you gave me. We already have some type of stuff like that, and I do have quite a wide range of towels and cloths that I use, and other stuff to properly clean my car. These pics were taking while it was pouring and I actually need to wax the car before the real winter weather kicks in.

Thanks for your input guys, appreciate it :)

true. Nothing beats a freshly polished and waxed car. :)

I like to keep mine completely stock. I even bought some original bolts for it last week. ;)

    And that's my latest purchase:

Adjusting pulley for the serpentine belt on my engine (Ordered this a couple weeks ago, but it turns out there was two pulleys, not one)
    A few wrenches
A few nuts and bolts for my car (The previous owner didn't put all of them back on when he last fixed something. :duh: )
x-rite ione 2 colorimeter (And i got it pretty damn cheap as well :D)
