News Packard Bell recalls dangerous batteries

Packard Bell has issued a product recall for batteries sold with its EasyNote laptops manufactured between July and December 2007 due a flaw that can result in a fire.

 

This has been happening a lot a lotta lot!

 

surely there should be tighter regulation over these batteries what with sony's blowing up and dells (if i recall) and also witht eh recent news of dell shipping inadequate PSU's with their equipment

 

they should make laptop batteries from freon so they power your machine and keep it cool at the same time.

Wow. With batteries like these im surprised terrorists keep trying to smuggle random explosives onto planes. Just book business class and buy Packard Bell.
