the northbridje chip is broken (@ bottom left corner) - during POST the speaaker beeps 1 long and 2 short (problem with video),
i've tried 3 different videocards and tried to use integrated widoe, but nothing helped - the mobo thinks that's something wrong vith the videocard

I never really enjoyed changing out motherboards, but when it's the part that fails I'm generally relieved. Of the other culprits (Memory, CPU, GPUs) the Mobo tends to be on the cheaper side of failures.

BUT, it's never fun losing a component =^/

Got some new goodies for me and for you, guys!
First of all - new motherboard. It's an Asus M4A785D-M Pro.

It's new, shiny, tasty, and it works :D

Then, my order of the watercooling loop came ^__^

    Watercool HK 3.0 LC

    XSPC RS 240

    Phobya DC12-260

Masterkleer 16/11 tubing and 13mm High Flow barbs

So now, it's going to be a watercooled case
Now I'm searching for the block for one of my video cards. They are both non-reference - Sapphire 4850 Vapor-X and Force3D 4850 black edition. I think, that EK waterblock will fit on my Sapphire with some modifications. The PCB's are identical. I think, that I can make it fit :)

So sweet watercooling :thumb: What about a reservoir/fillport? seems challenging fit a thing to purge air in this small cube.

    Update time!

Got some free time and redid the frame. Now all the panels align perfectly.
The only obstacle that separates me from powdercoating is countersinking the mounting holes on the side and top panels. Had no time to get the tool for it. After countersinking the holes everything will be ready for powdercoating "matte black"

I've made a test assembly of the case, and the result is very promising :)
Here are some pics of the case so far:

Then I added a DVD drive to the front to make sure that the pump and res will have enough place: white cardboard box simulates the res

So, here's where I'm now with the case. Tomorrow a waterblock for my videocard should arrive, and only powdercoating will stand between me and my new case :)

there will be recesses in the panels, and, btw I flatened the rivets so they stick from the chassis for about 0.25mm
