I'm surprised by how good it looks. They really are sturdy little things. No wonder Piquet felt so confident about crashing his.

I'm sort of surprised by how well it looks after the crash but the real story here is how unharmed I am after it. The Piquet jibe was nice, well done :hehe:

The car was taken away on a tow wagon today, and I got a courtesy car from the Dealership where the car was bought to keep me going for a while. Courtesy car is being paid for by the Insurance company and the VRI Gap and standrd insurance is getting worked out in the next couple of weeks. Couldn't ask for better service from 1) The dealership 2) The Insurance company or 3) The AA (who handle the VRI Gap) to be honest. Glad it's started to go smoothly after such a hectic week - my brother is getting married tomorrow. Putting the finishing touches on my speech now ;)

@Mookboy - I seriously doubt the engine just dropped in. I'll wager some Guinness there was some wrenching involved :D Upgrades are cool. When you can keep it stock looking is more cool.

    My BMW 740i V8 Individual

This is just like my bmw 740i that i purchased new in late 1999, at the time i was working abroad alot and i had a jeep grand cherokee 4.7l v8. As i was sometimes averaging 900miles a day you can probably gues how i would get anoid with the quality of the jeeps ride and comfort.

I had owned the keep since 1996 and had finaly come to the decision that i needed a more suitable car for my job. I ended up with the best car i have ever purchased. At the time i had a lot of money at hand to go towards a new car i had a range rover aswell at the time. Well i ended up going to BMW and over avout 4 weeks i had sorted the million different types of extras and bits and bobs that i could put on it. My main priority at the time was comfort due to all the work i was doing abroad. Anyway i ended up with a BMW 740i V8 sport costing me just over 73,000 pounds the blue suade and beige leather had i hefty price tag but i liked it so i went for it mine had a center com phone just like the picks drinks trays comeing from the back seat Hi Fi heated massage seats.

The past couple of years i had some major gearbox problems, cambelt not staying in place and i decided it was time to let it go. My beloved BMW had just ove 165,000 miles on the clock so it was well used and well worn. :) hope u liked :)

mm I'd like to swap the engine in my 206 but I spent most of my car funds patching up whacking Bambi at 70.

took me months to find original painted parts. but all is fixed :D

dont worry i killed Bambi with my now defunct Ford Escort. 85MPH on a backroad, having the deer hit your front left light, bouncing off of the oncoming truck, then smacking the door. Damn good thing it was Bambi and not its dad :D

oh I hit bambi head on and carried him about 50 feet, thankfully it was square on otherwise it could have been real nasty.
