lol, IRL the 203 is pretty badass, its just far too easy to use in MW/MW2. They shouldn't give you a crosshair, you shouldnt be able to run with it equipped and the arc should be higher by default, but hey then the "casual" gamers IW loves so much for their money wouldn't be able to get kills

 

The effective range of a M203 grenade launcher is 150 meters. If you are an army sniper you're pretty ****ed anyways if the enemy is within 150 meters. The only snipers who have targets in a range under 150 meters are SWAT forces, but they rarely use M203's for anything other than smoke/flash-bang/teargas grenades.

Edit: And snipers aren't the ones firing those grenades. That's the job for the cannonfodder in front.

also, MW2 = fail. Insurgency is way better imo.

 

I doubt any "sniper" would use an M16 with an ACOG. At best he's probably the deignated squad marksman.

I thought the noob-tube was the ACOG, as in, only a complete noob cannot use iron sights properly. A proper sniper wouldn't use an ACOG, the magnification isn't nearly high enough (I think they top out at like 8x?) and it's not adjustable for windage or elevation, is it?

Plus the M16/M4 is an open-bolt semi-automatic firing an ultralight round. None of these bode well for the 'sniper's' accuracy, and neither does the grenade launcher. A sniper's spotter might use something like that but either way a designated marksman is also my guess.
