I have long been a fan of the engineering marvels that take place in the modding section, and i very seldom post on this forum, but i am a total newbie when it comes to the technical numbers of the PC world. I wanted to see what my processor specs were like and try this "Overclocking" thing, considering that it is mentioned alot of the forum.
Although I noticed something very strange, i don't know if this is normal, but i would like to be advised if there is or isn't something wrong with this firstly, before i start overclocking anything

Firstly, i noticed that my Core Speed, multiplier & the Core voltage were jumping around almost constantly.

and then would hop to this

and back again, and would continously do so.

Heres some photos that hopefully will help you

Please, i would like to know if theres anything wrong, thanks :) If theres not, could i get overclocking advice please ? :)

I think you will find that is the intel speedstep which will decrease the cpu speed when it is not needed when its under load the speed will increase

It will simply make it faster at processing.

Your chip is a good overclocker and you should get a v significant speed boost.

ooo a G0 stepping like mine.

It'll do 3Ghz with out touching voltages or replacing any form of cooling
