Wow, that is one OTT Wii!! What did the original heatsink look like? I don't feel the need to pull apart mine to find out :)

    Woody_294 <-- Thank you very much. :)

I didn't get much time at the workshop today, so no update. :(
I'll try to remember to get a picture for you of the old heatsink, tomorrow. :)

    right this is bit-tech.

Cheap's once modded during a hurricane with no power, and you've cancelled christmas for a sake of a mod.

Whats next modding on christmas day with no power and only a spoon to mod with!

That's not that cold.... Max and Min temps in one year. Computers quit working at around -20F. I think the drive bearings freeze.

-Gonna have to do a claw hammer mod if another storm comes along. I don't think I should take a hammer to my Wii, though.:D
Working in those temps would kill me. I get the chills when it gets lower than 70F anymore.

Edit: missed one... Red Wii.:D You should have ordered some PINK coolant. Red will make it look ENRAGED.:hehe:

    -46F is -43.3°C

    We all should use Kelvin.

    Kelvin is weird.

    -43.3C is 229.85K
    -8C is 265.15K
    26C is 299.15K Or 78.8F

    It's aliiiiive! (Again)

Sooo... I guess I'm back! :) And the Wii has a New name:

    Wii - UNLimited Edition.

The summer is done, the loooong dark nights are back, and the modding-gene has awoken in me again!

Let's see, where did I stop last year...

Oh yeah, I modded the pump a bit too much, so I wrecked it, and bought a new one.

I guess a picture says a thousand words, so let's write an essay! :)

I made the sides, got them anodized, and milled the top afterwards:

The drive was milled and painted. Waterblock mounted and ready to go:

    Sides test-fit:

    Le Front:

    And the front testfitted:

The front and the sides next to each other:

The top part was milled finished, and painted black:

    Voila - Masking tape removed:

It was no easy task to increase the length of the on/off etc. buttons, but it worked in the end. Also a small piece of PMMA was made to get the light from the led to the surface of the top.

My beautifull Fillport, took way to long time to make, even though it doesn't look like much.
And right now I can't find it... :wallbash: Gotta take a look at the workshop tomorrow...

Leaktest - It passed in flying colors!

That's all for today, tomorrow shall bring a couple of more pictures, I hope you guys enjoy this very late update... But hey; better late than never! :)
