Scratch Build – Complete Cygnus X1.

They are stainless 4mm machined pins and plastic bushes. I bought them at a model supply
store here in Oz. You probably have model engineering stores near you. I ordered them on
line and got them in the mail two months later. I won't be using their services again.

That sounds like a silly delivery time . 4mm stainless pins shouldn't be too hard to fabricate on my own. It would be those bushings though, they seem pretty hard to get. I have looked in a couple of electronic/mechanical stores but they do not seem to have what I am looking for. Just have to search a bit more I guess

This case has appeared on at least 25 sites that I know of, and no-one has asked my
permission or let me know that my photos were going to be displayed. At the very least
Nils asked me if the case can be displayed on MDPC but in reality he did a fantastic job of
playing with the pics I sent him. I am happy with the way the case is displayed and I've even
changed the link in my sig to refer back to his site.

This is not a PC it is truly a work of art. I can definitely see this on display in the Smithsonian Museum. Wonderful pics too.

I am now looking at my ole' P183 Case and thinking it'll look good with two hunks of wood on either side!
