    Greetings!

You really should put the numbers for a GTX260 and a HD4870 in the graphs for reference.

So it runs hotter than the standard 5770, has a pitiful overclock that doesn't really add much to FPS and higher power usage. Absolutely not worth buying over any other 5770. You guys are right to award it 6/10 and I'd be concerned about the wobbly cooler as well.

You did a review and didn't compare it to any of it's similar priced competitors. Should have been 4870, 4890, 5750, 5770, GTX 250, 260, 275. I'd also put in an 8800Gt as that is the sort of card that people will be upgrading from so they can see how much benefit the new card gives.

I agree with DdD ...certainly there shouldn't have been anything higher than a 5850 in those charts, and while anyone with one of last year's cards is well advised to miss this gen of cards for the time being anyway what about those on the next rung down as DdD says on a 8800 for example? Afterall, if someone can't go the £220 necessary for a %850 why on earth torment them with the performance of an even more unobtainable £00+ card ...that's just cruel!!!

The review mentions that this is the only Powercolor card to have an overclock ...what about their 5850 pcs+??? Or are we talking about their UK only range? More to the point can you get on to Powercolor and ask them if/when it will be available over here ...pretty please!

4870 is about = performance to it In most games
4890 beats it in every game but is hard to aquire

This card won't run direct x11 games at HD resolutions so it's pointless for dx11

how many still game at 1280*1024

Were granted this cards performance is really good

This is just what I needed to hear about the 5770. It dovetails into what I've already read, thanks!

Well as i understand it, most people 'in the know' like to buy these in pairs for crossfire performance, where its about equal to a 5870 (driver permitting).

    £250 as opposed to £320+......

Certainly wouldn't upgrade from a 4850 or 4870 for one of these, its just a step sideways, rather than upwards....

Big, massive, super huge graphics update coming when GTX 480 and GTX 477 hit soon- if you want to see how the HD 5770 stacks up to the older cards - read the HD 5770 review http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/graphics/2009/10/13/amd-ati-radeon-hd-5770-review/1

I liked the bit where you wrote: (it terms of nosiness, it's rated at less than 30dB)

There's nothing worse than a nosy graphics card hehe :)

Sorry to nitpick but your last sentence is a mess! "On its own, we still l don't feel DX11 support isn’t a strong enough reason to upgrade, no matter how pretty STALKER: Call of Pripyat may look."

Good to see the 4870X2 is still holding up but I feel a bit left out that it can't do any DX11 stuff tho. Kinda wish I'd sold it and bought a 5870 before I built my new liquid cooled PC in December as it's gonna be an effort to upgrade it now it's in the waterloop but it would have been too much extra cost for little improvement.

Pls correct me if Im wrong, but looking at the lateral pic of the card, I have to ask. Isnt this card shorter because is using some kind of PCB over PCB design?.

What im saying its that by looking at this pic, it seems to be that the GPU PCB its over a second PCB.
