Hey thanks for the link unicorn13 i will have to see if i can get some here in New Zealand, usually stuff like that is hard to get a hold of here.
Well i have had a look at all the main sites here in NZ and all i could find is a single female molex pin remover for $20? i guess i'm s**t out of luck. I will have to do it the Kiwi way, with a can of Spieghts and a chainsaw oh and don't forget the sheep?
Well i didn't end up needing the chainsaw the Spieght's went down a treat and gave me super human strength to rip them out and the sheep i'll save for l8r cough cough....I meen BBQ
Lol yeh kinda had too if i wanted to make some progress, really... cool they are my flatmates wire cutters as i am just a lowly student at the moment and can not afford ye high and mighty lords prices But i have my eye on a verry nice set, caint wait to get to that part either hehe sparks it'll be like 4th of July oooh gooddy gooddy.
Well here is a quick update for every one. I have just ordered some new Case Feet for the modd while i have no progress to report at this stage, here is a sneek peek for you They should look premo Can't wait till they arrive. The old feet New Feet
well i love the coolermaster scout you have in the background...i got it from newegg a day after it came out a week later it dropped 40 bucks lol
Yeh lol i hate it when that happns, I love the design of the Scout and it's the best case i have had for cooling It only just fits the Coolermaster V10, and i meen "JUST" by about 5mm all i had to do was put the DVD Drive in the lowest drive bay.... lucky The only thing was is that it was terribly loud while under load, so i got sick of it and replaced it with the stock CPU fan & HS.
Ok so as i was typing up on my log about the CPU Cooler i suddenly noticed a big rise in temps from 29c to 47c .....ironic !!! Can you guess what it was?
Well i don't have any more updates as yet but one thing i did find out is.... when i went to get the paint for the PSU from the local supplier i was told that they couldn't put the paint that was used on the case in a spray can because of the hardener that they had use with it would have set it off by the time i went to spray the PSU due to the chemical in the hardener. So i will now have to take it to the paint shop where i got the case painted which is a shame, i was really lookin forward to painting that myself.................. .... Why not do the whole PSU in frosted Plexi Glass??? Hmmmmmmmmm i think i will dag namit i will make a wind tunnel, call me crazy or clinicaly insane but i think that is just what this mod needs, the tunnel will hide all of my wires and such and give good cooling to the PSU and CPU i will draw up a plan to show you what i'm on about. In the meen time here is what happend earlier. The bloody heatsink tension nib/hook gave way and this is what caused the sudden rise in temps, thank you CoreTemp32 for saving my ass, nuff said.
So after that delemour i set about putting the Cooler Master V10 back in the case. Now to make sure all the surfaces are cleaned properly. Now to apply the thermal paste, the reason i use two hands to apply the MX2 paste is that it is verry sticky stuff, this way i can get an accurate amount on the CPU. This thing is a real B**CH to put back in, i had to get my flatmate to help out by holding the case for me. Made sure the TEC was connected. Now you can see why i had to move the DVD Drive. And now you can see that i really did meen by 5mm. All done
niiiiiiiice. Hehe you're at the opposite end of NZ from me. Not many modders in NZ it seems.. Looks really good!
