Thanks for your patience guys ^^ It's been a slow couple of weeks but I think I'll get some done this weekend. Also, that teaser has been completed and I'll be picking it up later tonight for some photo cheesecake.

    Thanks!

I'm using Rhinoceros 3D for all the cad-work and Galaad for the CNC.

Did you waterjet the grill out or just use a really small end mill? I can't tell if there's a radius in there or not.

Actually the grill was cut using a Fanuc Wire-EDM which leaves a small radius depending on what kind of wire you're using (roughly 0.15mm in this case), the rest of the piece was done in a Mazak VTC 300C.

EDMs are beautiful. Fanuc, on the other hand *gag*. Very nice, however, definitely a beautiful piece.

I agree Achron. EDM is an awesome way to machine stuff. That plate looks great Sleepstreamer :thumb:

With paint and a little gloss, it'll look phenomenal.

Actually had time to make some progress on the stealth this weekend!

Started off by mounting my atx backplate.

With that done I could do some work on the stealth. Remember those pieces I earlier planned to use? I scrapped em... (Why do I even bother with making drawings? :p). Anyways, the new one is running with the same corner-cut theme as the rest of the case.

TIme for a new sheet :thumb:

And after 10mins in the router plus some bending action:

Plus something to hold it in place.

After looking at this for quite a while from different angles I decided that the acrylic piece should be in alu to fit the theme better. This would also keep it from flexing.

It's now starting to look like I want it to

Dude, that looks amazing. If you did that with a router in 10 minutes, I need to get myself a router ASAP.
