Well, here's some pictures of how far I am at the moment. All is on hold until I get a new pin remover, which should come at the end of next week along with some MOARRRR sleeve.

It is more flexible, but even more interesting is that it adheres to a specific shape that it has been in for a while. For instance in the wire below I removed the top heat shrink band and it still retains the shape I put it into. :D

However, it does have its downsides. It takes excellent wire crimping skills to make it work right, as the insulation is considerably bigger in width than normal power supply wires, when using standard 18-22 gauge crimp terminals. I have on order some 16 gauge crimp terminals to see if they will work better.

Hi guys, I want to do the sleeving to my PSU (zalman ZM750-HP), but I don't know exactly how many ft of expandable sleeving I'll need. I made some measurements, but I'm not sure the numbers are ok. Could be that I need around 120ft??

    Thanks for reply.
    Iñaki.

To single braid every wire on a PSU, 120foot doesn't sound too far off.

A 2 foot 24pin atx cable would be close to 50 foot on its own.

    Good luck :)

Wouldn't it make most sense if you measured your own system out and figured this out for yourself.

Ok, I don't have my system yet.
I wanted to order the sleeving before the system so I wouldn't have to wait 4 weeks extra until I have my sleeving.
But i guess that doesn't really makes sense.
    Sorry.:duh:
