    here have some stars... great case with high quality parts - who could refuse!
    wish i could justify the one that supports my EATX board - but £300+ is a wee bit too much. Got an A70FB instead :-D

    Great case, tho does remind me of lifestyles of the rich and famous. Course so does folks with CNC machines in their shop or lazer cutters laying around, lol. :wallbash:

    Love the red anodizing, something almost magical about that.

    And what is it about good braided sleeve in the "colonies" ?? Spent a long time going thru Techflex site last night. Going blind looking at small photos trying to figure out if any of it even approached the quality of what Europe has.

    Had some that wires would not show thru but they were not a weave at all and somewhat butt ugly.

    Curse you empty wallet and why did I ever even hear of MDPC ??? :wallbash:

    Thanks :).

    Lund has done a great job in producing these. Far better than any other reservoir available

    Cheers Darkraven.

    I'm more like ' lifestyles of the poor and needy' :D

    Techflex do some great braiding. I used it on my last build, Purple Rain - Link in signature.

    Very pleased to continue the sponsorship and support of Phenoptix in this build.

    They are kindly supplying the lighting required for this build :thumb:

    Big thanks to Ben.

    Updates soon... :D

    Another small update :)

    The case is now in my grubby little hands :D

    Black powder coated inners should be standard imo, especially when you have paid £250+ for the case.

    Lian Li take note !! You do it on the other TYR range cases, why not this one ?

    Anyway, some pics ;

    Most of the bolts and fixings are also silver, so out with the spray can.

    Easiest way for spraying bolts etc, is to thread them through a piece of corrugated cardboard. This keeps them upright and makes the job a whole lot easier to handle and move.

    Here's the first batch;

    For the watercooling loop - CPU and Northbridge, i'll be using a Feser single 120 radiator coupled with a Scythe UltraKaze 38mm fan.

    [IMG]

    Keeping the black and red theme going, i've gone for black Bitspower fittings;

    [IMG]

    And to tie in with the colour, i had the hold down plate of my Apogee XT powdercoated black;

    And the rather splendid Lund reservoir ( again ! ) ;

    Got 2 weeks to go for the deadline, so i've got a little bit of work to do :D

    Heres the pre- CNC drawing of the window for the case panel.

    Back soon, and thanks for dropping by :thumb:

    Cheers,

    Oh WOW.
    Red n black looks gorgeous. Too bad about the random bits of blue that pop up all over the board though.

    Cheers mate. Your build is so tall i'll be able to see it from Madrid , lol

    Thanks :)

    Thanks. The only completely black mobo i could see was from EVGA. That would have meant a complete upgrade, cpu,ram and mobo - Way out of my budget. The blue pci-e slots will be hidden by the graphics card and sound card. The floppy and 2 sata ones on the right i have covered with black tape ( Ghetto, but it works ).

    Think i'll be taking a soldering iron to the airport at this rate Mike.

    Things are getting a little tight with the bank holidays coming up just before it gets collected.
    Won't get everything i wanted to do finished, but it'll be ~ 90% done :worried:
