I am just using an intellimouse and super cheap keyboard on my i5 rig and was thinking of upgrading. Scan have the G15 keyboard and G500 mouse for just over £70, are these good for gaming or worth that money?

You're saving around £30 over buying them individually, I i needed a new keyboard and mouse id probably go for that, so yeah i guess it is a bit of a bargain, im guessing seeing as its a today only offer but products only change on weekdays you've got the weekend to get it bought :thumb:

Ok, thanks for the positive response, I wasn't sure whether it was worth it as I have never bought gaming mice or keyboards before. I will order these tonight after I find out which day next week I have off so I can get them delivered.

And yes they are right at the top of the today only deals at scan for Friday through Sunday.

i just bought a apple keyboard and it is a beauty. both in looks and in typing.

am very impressed with it though some of the keys u need to change around with a tool like sharpkeys as i am using it with windows.

I already have an apple keyboard as I have a 2 year old 24" iMac, I do like it but I don't really want to use it with my PC.

Gotta agree the apple keys are a joy to type on but I don't know how well they'll hold up to gaming. I can't help but think with extended hammering the WASD key's wont last very long, feel a bit on the thin side.

the apple stuff is very nice but i dont find it very comfortable to use at all. using the apple keyboards in uni kills my wrists

Ok I just ordered this with a gaming surface (fancily named mousepad) for just under £80 including postage, hopefully these live up to my high expectations.
