Yes. It's one of those game you have to have in your library. Playing through it again at the moment, maxxed out all the settings and just taking my time going through the levels, picking the enemy off one at a time.
Well, let's see... If you have to ask this question, go and play Blacksite: Area 51. Go on, I'll wait. . . . Rubbish, wasn't it?! Now go back to playing Crysis. notice how it's actually fun to play and the absolutely amazing graphics suck you in to the experience. I think too many people take excellent games like Crysis and Gears of War for granted when it's actually very easy to cock up a game.
Certainly enjoyable. Both can be had (separately) for a total of £17 here. Or look for Crysis-Maximum Edition (it contains both games).
your arguement is flawed, GoW was never great Crysis is one of the best PC FPS to hit in the past 5 years, just for gods sake dont expect it to be like COD or you will die VERY quickly.
I always thought of Crysis as just a concept for the CryEngine... the engine is great for the most part, but the single player is very boring imo, there are lot better games to spend your money on . Would be nice to see other devs taking on the CryEngine in a different direction and see what they can do with it. I fail to see any stealth in the game.... the AI is to stupid for it to be a good stealth game, and they seem to all have super lazer eagle vision.
just didn't find it very fun to play, more like a chore, i finished both games, and i wont be buying the new Crysis if its anything like the other 2. Its another generic FPS, nothing special, if it didn't have its uber graphics, no one would care.
I liked the game. It was really fun. The nice graphics helped too lol. Btw, Crysis 2 has a new writor for it. An award winning writor, so expect a story that's a lot better than Crysis 1. Crysis 1 had a pretty bad story imho.
Savage game... Strip away the story and the graphics and your left with a fps with a nanosuit... The more you play it the more these two elements take over, as the sheer pace and agility with which u can obliterate a group of enemy soldiers is what captivates. The first half of the game is definately where the most fun is. I remember playing it the first time round and treating every enemy camp with a metal gear solid reverence, sneaking around trying not to get caught cos this is the initial aspect of the game you are most aware of, having completed the second half of the game which is more kill or be killed I went back and played the first half again and the realization that stealth can be used in a predator fashion and that's where the fun really is. Confounding ur enemies (ok they're not the smartest) appearing in the middle of them, dissappearing, circling around behind them, basically just playing with them is hours of fun. No two battles are the same, I loved the style of the first one, pockets of enemies with jungle between, watching and waiting, seeing the scenery move giving them away before they come into view.... Think I need to play it once more before crysis 2!
That's very rude..... particularly coming from a mod.... Here is your dummy, try not to throw it out of the pram next time. PS: I see you edited that fast didn't you..... PSS: Rogan, grow up, and stop editing my post's.
