The two new comers asked to be in the race and were accepted.

[H]ardOCP fell apart last year and are not playing any more. Those of their members who love the Chimp Challenge are folding for another team.

The bloke who did the race graphs last year is too busy and someone else is doing them.

As I've finally passed 3 Million and I'm into the top 100 I will be taking part.

I'm only averaging 12,000 atm but I have bought my dedicated folding machine home as I realised whilst looking through my posts the other day I haven't touched it for a month as I've been so busy as work.

Will send out the passkey Monday evening so everyone has Tuesday to do any testing they wish to do :) There is a reason why I've held back a bit on giving out the passkey due to some foul play I heard about on the CC 2010 forum so leaving it almost to the last day will minimise the likelihood of us getting any problems, just playing it safe trust me :)

Well done mate, welcome aboard CustomBitChimp! 12k is an excellent contribution to the challenge & team, if you are folding the CPU client SMP A3 cores please PM me asking for the passkey for the bonus :thumb:

    REMINDER TO ALL:

Can everyone who is going to be running the A3 core & Bigadv work units please PM me with the subject "bonus" and I will reply with the passkey over the next few days, GPU only & normal SMP folders don't need to worry about this

Thanks everyone, looking forward to this now, itching to see what we can do

Changed mine. I've given up folding on my main rig - slowish cpu and ATI gpu makes for wasted power vs ppd. That and the missus is playing more than a few hours of L4D2 a day which is killing the PPD. I'm still short 2 xeon cpus, some RAM and coolers, and 3 PSU's for my folding rigs. Sorry guys :/ If I could find two PSU's i would be back folding very quick though! (damn it needing 400w plus as dual socket boards)

Wish I could fold though - my gaming rig CPU is currently sitting at 25 degrees! stock AMD cooler too. HIS 4850 is at 32 degrees on air too. Imagine what w/c would do :S

was running the GPU client and managed 2 WU's but seem to have hit a snag now. It got to about 8200 on my 3rd WU before the monitor flashed black for about a second then came back and f@H crashed. Its been stuck on attempting to get a packet for over an hour now >.> Least the CPU's still folding.

    oh and 1000th post =)
