wtf is this, this is not relevant to my interests. Well, she is of great relevance to my interest, waheyhey. In all seriousness though, the frontpage ads have really taken a dive recently. What happened to the tech only ads?
Yikes, that is not what we want! Joe and I will investigate with the ads team. FWIW, I've not see n it - I get MSI, Mercedes and Ebuyer at the mo.
Lots of Samsung here. Apparently some tit decided we need a gold portable hard drive with Michael Jackson's mug on it.
This ad has now been removed. It only appeared by mistake - apparently some sort of miscommunication among the ads team. Cheers for pointing it out.
We've got that in for review. I think I speak for everyone on the team when I describe it as the absolute pinnacle of technical innovation and engineering brilliance.* * I may be being a litte sarcastic.
I am using adblock so I don't see it. I already pay Dennis money to look at adverts by reading PC Pro and CPC every month. Blocking ads though is akin to torturing kittens in some circles though. Plus, WTF are Mercedes doing advertising on here ? Evo perhaps ? Or are they trying to divert some 17 yr old kids budget (or attention) for a Core i3 system onto bothering his dad for putting a deposit down on an A class or something ?
i'm just amazed people looked at the advertisements to notice. My brain's inbuilt ad filter has been honed through a childhood of internet access. I can no longer see the ads even if i try to
I think a bloke's "attractive woman on a bed waving at me" filter overrides any standard inbuilt ad filter
Let me summarize: Soooo, would you prefer a "Right Sayd Fred" branded gold *Bling* harddrive instead?
